Surbiton High’s A and B skiing teams saw an outstanding result at the British Schools Final, taking place in Hillend, Edinburgh recently.
Surbiton High School’s A team secured first place, with the B team taking third place in the English Schools Final. This ensured both teams a place in the British Schools Final. Both A and B teams skied exceptionally well and achieved second place for the A team and fourth place for the B team.
Taryn Archbold, Head of Skiing stated: “I am so proud of both our A and B teams for their accomplishments. It was an extremely challenging slope for the girls to compete on and this is true testament to the skill and hours training that they have put in to achieve these fantastic results.”
As further acknowledgement of these superb results, 10 Surbiton High School pupils have been selected for the English School Squads:
Senior Squad (U18): Chelsea, Eleanor, Ellen, Evie, Josie and Tilly
Junior Squad (U16): Charlotte, Ellie and Zoe
Primary Squad (U12): Ciara
