Beverley W in Year 8 achieved an incredible double victory at the Surrey Badminton Championships. Beverley was crowned U13 Girls’ Singles Champion and also secured the U15 Girls’ Singles Champion title, showcasing her exceptional talent by competing against older, more experienced players for the first time.
Building on last year’s successes, Beverley has been selected to represent Surrey in the National Badminton League for the 2024/25 season. Over the summer, she was also invited to attend a Badminton England boot camp, where she trained alongside future England team members and set her sights on even greater goals.
Beverley’s dedication and determination continue to inspire, and her local community eagerly anticipates her future achievements.
