CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE

Posted: 15th December 2020

In spite of the huge challenges presented by COVID this year, we were delighted to be able to create our Surbiton High Christmas Carol Service which could be enjoyed  by so many.

It was only possible through the vision, hard work and ‘can do’ attitude of the pupils and staff involved. It was with pride that we were able to showcase our talented musicians and readers from all three schools, brought together by the magic of editing in one unified service. A highlight was to welcome back Mary Reid (former pupil from 2005-2009) in her capacity as professional harpist to accompany our senior pupils.

It is also right to thank the Reverend Robert Stanier and the staff from St Mark’s Church who gave their time to enable us to do all our recordings in a COVID secure way.

If you are not one of the 1600 people who have already watched this service, it is still available using this link.

On behalf of the Green & Silver Club, may I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a peaceful and safe Christmas break.
