At Surbiton High Boys’ Prep, we are incredibly proud of our Year 5 teacher, Mrs. Hannah Dillon, and her commitment to supporting her local community outside of the classroom. Mrs. Dillon is not only dedicated to her role as an educator but also to a remarkable cause that makes a real difference in the lives of young people – All Dressed Up Too.
All Dressed Up Too is a not-for-profit initiative that gifts donated prom dresses to pupils who may not have the means to purchase one. This March, Mrs Dillon was part of a small team that organised a pop-up prom dress shop in Molesey, where they worked tirelessly to ensure local pupils had access to beautiful dresses for their special events. Over 260 invitations were sent to Pupil Premium students from 24 local schools, and nearly 100 girls and their families were welcomed through the doors.

Thanks to generous donations, including 170 dresses from a local lady who gifted her former bridal shop sample stock, the team had 400 dresses to offer. The girls were able to select their perfect dress, and 80 brand-new dresses were gifted for them to keep. The joy, excitement, and smiles on the girls’ faces were priceless, and the team’s enthusiasm and support made the experience even more memorable.
If you would like to support All Dressed Up Too – If you would like to donate a dress or have links to companies that may be able to support, please feel free to reach out to Mrs Dillon directly at hannah.dillon@surbitonboysprep.com. We are incredibly proud of her efforts and the difference she continues to make in the lives of young people in our community.
