Young Enterprise – London Trade Fair

Posted: 19th March 2025

The Old Spitalfields Market was a great experience for my team and our first trade fair. As it was our first trade fair, we didn’t know what to expect or how many sales we would get however, we did manage to make some sales and, we were able to speak to many members of the public who had a positive viewpoint on our product- a card game about endangered animals.

We had judges who came to us and asked us to pitch our product to them; they really liked the game and thought it was a great idea to get people educated on the endangered species and animals that risk being extinct.

The market allowed us to gain real-life experience and really get a feel of what it’s like to sell to members of the public as a business. As time went on, we enjoyed a great lunch in the market and got to see all the different products that the 60 schools, that were there, were selling.

Overall, we had an amazing time and gained valuable experience in what it’s like selling and running your own business and, we are excited for the future selling opportunities to come! Thank you to Mrs Sharp, Mrs Parsons and Mr White for guidance and continued support through the programme and for allowing us to have a wonderful experience at the Spitalfields Market.
