As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, the spirit of Halloween has come alive at the Girls’ Prep School! For the past two weeks, our talented KS1 and KS2 girls showcased their creativity and spooky skills in a thrilling pumpkin carving competition.
The excitement was palpable as pupils carved their pumpkins at home, sending in their spooktacular photo submissions. From grinning jack-o’-lanterns to intricate designs featuring bats, houses, and spiders, each pumpkin tells its own eerie tale. It was wonderful to see such creativity and craftsmanship shine through, even from a distance!
As Halloween approaches, the excitement is brewing! The ghoulishly good runners-up for KS1 and KS2 are Avina H in RecB and Amelie R in 4M. The eerie winners, claiming the top spots, are Sophia G in 1CL and Molly H in 3KE! Congratulations to all our frightfully creative pumpkin artists—your spooky spirits have truly shined! Your hauntingly beautiful creations have brought a touch of magic to this Halloween season!
