We are incredibly proud of Tim Nurse, one of our Hockey Sports Coaches who travelled to Paris as part of the Team GB Hockey squad. Originally selected as a reserve, Mr Nurse was called up to play during the tournament, representing Great Britain in a match against Germany!
Tim’s achievement is a testament to his dedication and skill, and we are immensely proud to have an Olympian as part of our coaching team. His experience and expertise will undoubtedly inspire and benefit our pupils.
Mr Nurse shared, “It was a great experience that will live with me forever -experiencing an Olympic Games! It has definitely spurred me on to achieve more in my career! I would also like to thank Surbiton High for all their support in helping me achieve my goals and I look forward to seeing all the pupils in the new term.”
