On Tuesday 23 April, a joint team from the Surbiton High Girls’ and Boys’ Preparatory Schools attended Surbiton Tennis & Racket Club to play in the Kingston Borough Tennis Competition.
The competition welcomed up to ten schools from the borough, with the winning team securing a place to represent Kingston at the London Youth Games. The team shone through the group stages, presenting fantastic control and racket skills on the court. As a result, the team secured a place in the semi-finals to compete for 3rd place. After some close matches, the team was victorious and came away with a bronze medal.
A shout-out goes to Abigail for successfully winning all her matches, displaying great talent, and placement of the ball on the court. Well done to Maia, Abigail, Jude, and William for representing the School!
