Year 12 Sociology students recently visited the Black Cultural Archives Museum located in Brixton. The purpose of their visit was to engage in a comprehensive exploration of Black Feminism during a thought-provoking two-hour workshop.
The workshop delved into the intricacies of Black Feminism, providing a historical perspective on the political movement of black women in the United Kingdom. The students had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of feminism, with a particular emphasis on the intersectionality that is inherent within this vital socio-political discourse.
