On Wednesday afternoon Sam, Faaris, Jean-Baptiste, and Daniel S participated in the annual Maths Wizards competition hosted by Hampton School. They put their mathematical knowledge to the test, competing in a series of five rounds which were between 10-20 minutes long, namely; Am I Odd? A Cross Number round, a Consecutive Numbers round and a final Group Challenge.
The boys had to work as a team and use a range of strategies to solve incredibly challenging and complex puzzles and problems. They collaborated beautifully and never gave up despite facing some really difficult questions. Well done to Hampton Prep School for walking away with the coveted trophy and, thank you to Hampton School for hosting.
