During the last week, pupils across both Schools in Years 2 to 6 have been performing solo and ensemble pieces to friends and family in our Spring Coffee Morning Concerts.
A wide range of repertoire has been heard over the three concerts, with solo performances on instruments including the Cello, Drum Kit, Piano, Flute, Violin, Voice, and many more. Prep School ensembles also showed off their hard work over the last term, with many pupils from across the Schools and year groups coming together to perform for the first time in almost two years.
HIT IT! Ensembles and Recorder Clubs from both Schools had their debut performances, alongside the String Ensemble and our amazing Prep Band performing ‘I’m Still Standing’, which made for a triumphant end to our first concert.
The Music Department were so impressed with the pupils’ display of professionalism and confidence, and feedback from parents who attended reflects this too. Many congratulations go to all pupils who performed; we hope our audiences enjoyed watching the brilliant performances and are looking forward to the Spring Choral Concert and Summer Coffee Morning Concerts!
