Eddie Jones, you better be watching!

Posted: 4th February 2022

Tuesday afternoon saw the latest batch of rugby talent coming off the conveyor belt at the Boys’ Prep to play their first competitive match for the School. The U8s enjoyed an away game to Milbourne Lodge. The dry, sunny conditions allowed the boys to play some lovely free-flowing rugby with lots of tries and offloads that Sonny Bill Williams would have been proud of. The As, Bs and Ds suffered very close losses but their resilience to keep playing despite the score line is a credit to them. The C-team recorded a very nail-biting win with two quick tries right at the end to win the game for them.

It was a mixed bag of results on Wednesday for the U11 teams, who also played against Milbourne Lodge, all performing well.

On Thursday, our U10 boys all performed outstandingly well with the A, B and C-teams all winning their matches against Newland House and a valiant loss from the D-team.

The PE Department are proud of all the boys; their rugby skills and how they represented their school. Also, as a department, we would like to thank our parents for their support from the sidelines.
