The Year 2 girls were looking at inventors and inventions for their topic in the first half of the Summer Term and were challenged to come up with a problem-solving invention of their own!
Combining all their knowledge and skills learnt during their topic, as well as humanities lessons looking at the inventors themselves and science lessons on the properties of materials, the girls used their writing and artistic skills to create an eye-catching poster, prototype and persuasive pitch. With prototypes made and pitches polished, they faced the Dragons to explain how their inventions worked, the benefits and the problems that could be tackled, and why their idea was worth investing in!
Their pitches, prototypes and videos were absolutely fantastic and really showed the passion, careful thought and creativity they had put in!
